Description

Engineered for Oxygen-Rich Environments

Aircraft oxygen systems demand absolute care. A single spark in an oxygen-enriched atmosphere can ignite with catastrophic results. The RBT320 Oxygen Service Kit from Red Box Tools addresses this risk directly with copper-beryllium non-sparking tools and a Sherlock Type I oxygen-safe leak detector. Designed as a universal kit for all aircraft types, it gives maintenance teams the essential hand tools needed for safe, efficient oxygen system work without introducing ignition hazards.

The five Imperial (SAE/Standard) tools are supplied in a lightweight, high-quality nylon bag with a comfortable grip handle. Measuring 465 mm × 110 mm × 320 mm and weighing just 2 kg, the kit is highly portable for ramp or hangar use and can be stowed in any orientation. Tool control features, including foam organisation, support quick visual checks and help maintain accountability in professional aviation environments.

Key Features at a Glance
  • Non-sparking copper-beryllium (Cu-Be) tools specifically selected for oxygen service safety
  • Includes combination wrenches (notably 5/16″, 5/8″ and 1⅛″ 12-point), ratcheting combination spanner and 160 mm diagonal cutting pliers
  • Sherlock Type I oxygen & compressed gas leak detector (8 oz squeeze bottle) – formulated without oils, fats or ammonia for pure oxygen compatibility
  • Lightweight nylon hand-carry bag with comfortable grip for easy transport and flexible storage
  • Compact 2 kg package ideal for mobile technicians and tool-control procedures

Etching Options
Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
