Description

Professional Mobility for Aircraft Maintenance Teams

Aircraft mechanics working across hangars, remote aprons or line maintenance rarely have the luxury of a fixed workshop. The RBI4000T® solves this by combining a comprehensive selection of 147 Bahco tools with a high-specification trolley case that travels as hard as the engineer using it. The heavy-duty synthetic resin shell is watertight, impact-resistant and fitted with a pressure-equalising valve, so the contents stay protected whether the case is dragged across wet concrete or loaded into a vehicle.

Inside, the tools sit in multi-layer, two-colour Shadow Foaming® that is fully Skydrol-resistant. The contrasting foam colours make missing tools immediately obvious during pre- and post-shift checks, supporting strict FOD and tool-control regimes common in aviation environments. Bahco’s lifetime guarantee on every tool underlines the professional standard expected by licensed engineers and MRO providers.

Key Features at a Glance
  • 147 Bahco tools covering sockets, combination wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, ratchets, extensions and specialist aviation items
  • Dual-colour Skydrol-resistant foam with visual tool-control capability
  • Wheeled synthetic resin case – watertight, impact-resistant, pressure-equalising valve
  • Compact external dimensions (545 × 350 × 240 mm) at 23 kg fully loaded
  • Lifetime guarantee on all Bahco tools for long-term operational confidence
Built for the Realities of Line and Base Maintenance

Whether you are supporting scheduled maintenance, AOG recovery or routine line checks, the RBI4000T® keeps essential tools organised, protected and immediately accessible. The trolley design with integrated handle and wheels reduces physical strain during long shifts and frequent aircraft moves, while the robust case construction stands up to the daily wear of hangar floors and transport.

Etching Options
Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
