Description

This professional-grade Flight Aid GM kit has been assembled specifically for aviation environments where tool control, durability and portability matter. Every tool is a genuine Bahco aviation-specification item, individually recessed into chemical-resistant foam so that missing tools are immediately visible. The compact nylon bag format keeps the complete set ready for hangar, flight-line or remote-site work without the bulk of a traditional toolbox.

Tool Control and Practical Design

The foam insert system is Skydrol-resistant, protecting both the tools and the surrounding aircraft systems from hydraulic fluid contamination. A separate kneeling pad is supplied with the kit, allowing technicians to work comfortably on hard surfaces during under-wing or fuselage tasks. The overall package measures approximately 465 × 110 × 320 mm and weighs 4.4 kg, striking a practical balance between capacity and ease of carrying.

Key Contents at a Glance
  • Bahco combination pliers, snipe-nose pliers, side cutters, slip-joint and locking pliers
  • 1/4″ aerospace sockets (5–13 mm) with matching ratchet and combination bit ratchet
  • Combination spanners from 5.5 mm to 13 mm
  • Ergo screwdrivers (slotted and Phillips), hex bit set and pistol-grip ratcheting screwdriver
  • Supporting items including telescopic inspection mirror, spark-plug wire brush, tyre pressure gauge and SMD pen light

These tools cover the majority of routine airframe and power-plant checks that pilots and licensed engineers perform between scheduled maintenance visits.

Why Aviation Teams Choose This Kit

Missing tools create both safety and regulatory headaches. The clear foam layout instantly shows when an item is absent, supporting FOD prevention procedures. Bahco’s aviation-grade construction withstands the vibration, temperature cycles and chemical exposure typical of aircraft work, while the nylon bag format travels easily between base and remote locations.

Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
