Description

Professional Aircraft Mechanic Workshop Cabinet – 281 Bahco Imperial Tools

The RBA6IMP is a purpose-built workshop cabinet designed for aircraft maintenance teams, hangar operations and engineering workshops that rely on imperial (SAE) tooling. It combines a selection of 281 genuine Bahco hand tools – all covered by Bahco’s lifetime guarantee – with a high-quality 7-drawer steel cabinet that includes four spare drawers for future expansion or specialised items.

Every tool is precision-located in dual-colour foam that is resistant to hydraulic fluid and oil. The contrasting colours make a missing tool immediately obvious, supporting strict Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control procedures and faster end-of-shift checks. Red Box Push Point Technology creates deeper release pockets beneath each tool, allowing clean, one-press removal while maximising usable drawer space.

Engineered for Daily Workshop Demands

The cabinet measures 677 mm × 501 mm × 950 mm and weighs approximately 100 kg, providing a stable, mobile workstation on castors that can be positioned exactly where work is taking place. The foam system and tool layout are optimised for the common fastener sizes, drive configurations and specialised implements required in airframe, powerplant and general maintenance tasks. Spare drawers remain available for site-specific tools or additional inventory, giving teams flexibility without compromising the integrity of the primary kit.

This configuration addresses the practical challenges faced by professional maintainers: the need for rapid tool identification, protection against fluid contamination, and a durable storage solution that remains serviceable in demanding hangar environments.

Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
