Description

Professional-Grade Aircraft Maintenance in One Cabinet

Aircraft maintenance demands absolute control over every tool. Foreign object debris (FOD) risks, mixed imperial and metric fasteners, and the need for rapid, reliable access make incomplete or poorly organised kits a liability. The RBI8000C solves this by combining a full set of 236 Bahco hand tools with a high-capacity 8-drawer workshop cabinet engineered for daily hangar use.

Every socket, wrench, plier and specialist aviation tool sits in dual-colour foam inlays. The contrasting colours reveal empty pockets at a glance, so tool checks become fast, visual and accurate. This simple but highly effective system supports strict tool control procedures and reduces the chance of tools being left behind on the aircraft.

Engineered Cabinet for Workshop Durability

The cabinet itself is built for the realities of professional aviation environments. Measuring 677 mm (L) × 501 mm (W) × 950 mm (H) and weighing 104 kg, it offers substantial storage capacity while remaining mobile. Key construction features include:

  • Lock and Go latching system that keeps drawers closed during movement
  • Full-extension ball-bearing slides for complete drawer access
  • Double-wall frame that protects slides and drawers from impact
  • Scratch-resistant paint finish
  • Central locking with secure key
  • 125 × 50 mm non-marking wheels (two fixed, two swivel with brakes)

These details ensure the unit withstands regular movement around the hangar floor and remains organised under heavy daily use.

Why This Kit Works for Aviation Teams

The combination of Bahco tool quality, dual measurement coverage and visual tool control addresses the core problems faced by aircraft and helicopter maintenance engineers: incomplete kits, slow inventory checks, and the constant risk of FOD. Whether working on fixed-wing or rotary aircraft, the RBI8000C provides a ready-to-deploy solution that supports both efficiency and compliance-focused procedures.

Etching Options
Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
