Description

Professional Metric Avionics Toolkit for Precision Aircraft Maintenance

The RBI9600MT supplies a carefully selected set of 262 BAHCO and DMC metric tools engineered specifically for avionic work. Maintenance organisations and MRO teams rely on it for reliable connector terminations, wire harness repairs, insertion/removal tasks and general avionics component servicing where accuracy and tool accountability are non-negotiable.

Engineered for Aviation Environments

The tools are housed in a heavy-duty wheeled trolley case manufactured from synthetic resin. It is fully watertight and impact-resistant, fitted with a pressure equalising valve that protects the contents during transport and use in changing atmospheric conditions typical of hangars and line maintenance. Measuring 585 mm long × 329 mm wide × 192 mm high and weighing 15 kg, the case remains highly portable while offering robust protection.

Every instrument is embedded in multi-layer, two-colour Skydrol-resistant foam. The contrasting colours make any missing tool immediately visible, supporting strict Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control and rapid inventory checks required for airworthiness compliance. Red Box Push Point Technology creates deeper foam pockets so tools release cleanly with a simple push, eliminating the bulk of traditional pick points and maximising storage density.

The metric selection covers the core requirements of professional avionics work, including a comprehensive range of DMC positioners and adjustable crimp tools, multiple insertion/removal tools, precision screwdrivers, sockets, open-end wrenches, ratchets, pliers, tweezers, cable-tie tools and more. All BAHCO tools carry a lifetime guarantee, ensuring long-term reliability under daily professional use.

Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
