Description

Professional Tooling Built for General Aviation

When you are working on light aircraft or helicopters away from a full hangar, every tool must earn its place. The Flight Aid GA Tool Kit answers that need with a carefully chosen 47-piece Imperial (SAE/Standard) selection of high-quality BAHCO aviation hand tools. Each item is individually seated in two-colour, Skydrol-resistant foam that instantly highlights any missing tool, supporting strict foreign-object-debris (FOD) procedures while keeping everything organised and protected.

The complete kit is housed in a durable nylon bag with a comfortable carry handle. It measures approximately 465 mm × 110 mm × 320 mm and weighs just 4.4 kg, so it can be carried easily, stowed in any orientation and kept ready for pre-flight checks, minor adjustments or line maintenance. A padded kneeling pad is included for added comfort when working on the ground or around the airframe.

Designed for Real-World Aviation Demands

BAHCO tools carry a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship under normal professional use, giving operators confidence that the kit will perform reliably over many years. The two-colour foam (dark tool pockets against a contrasting red backing) is formulated to resist Skydrol hydraulic fluid, oils and common aviation contaminants. This combination of quality tooling and visual tool-control foam makes the Flight Aid kit particularly suitable for general aviation pilots, aircraft owners, flying clubs and small maintenance organisations that require a portable, accountable set of everyday tools.

Etching Options
Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
