Description

Professional Aviation Maintenance in One Organised Case

When minor maintenance cannot wait for the hangar, pilots and ground crew need a dependable set of tools that is complete, controlled and ready to use. The Flight Aid 2.0 Metric delivers exactly that: a carefully selected 47-piece metric tool kit designed specifically for general aviation work. Every tool is a genuine Bahco aviation-grade item, individually recessed into high-density foam that resists Skydrol and other common aircraft fluids. The result is a compact, professional kit that keeps tools secure, visible and accounted for between flights.

Built Around Real Aircraft Needs

The selection covers the everyday tasks most GA operators face. Precision sockets, combination wrenches, specialised pliers, ratchets, screwdrivers and inspection aids are all included, so common jobs such as spark-plug work, tyre pressure checks, small fastener adjustments and visual inspections can be completed without searching for missing tools. The foam layout follows established tool-control principles, making it immediately obvious if anything is missing before the aircraft is signed off.

Key features at a glance
  • 47 carefully chosen metric Bahco aviation tools for everyday GA maintenance
  • Individual tool control in durable, Skydrol-resistant foam
  • Compact soft case measuring 465 × 110 × 320 mm and weighing only 4.4 kg
  • Includes sockets, combination wrenches, specialised pliers, ratchets and inspection tools
  • Designed for pilots, engineers and operators who value organisation and reliability

Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
