Description

A Complete Professional Tool Solution for Onboard Yacht Maintenance

The RBTM11C On Board Yacht Kit brings together 178 professional Facom tools in a purpose-configured 8-drawer tool cabinet, providing marine engineers, yacht maintenance teams and professional technicians with a comprehensive workshop solution in one organised unit. Rather than relying on a collection of loose toolboxes or individual tools, this kit gives engineers a clearly defined selection of equipment covering mechanical, electrical, inspection and general maintenance requirements encountered onboard.

The tool selection includes metric OGV combination wrenches from 8mm to 30mm, ¼”, ⅜” and ½” drive ratchets and socket sets, long-reach sockets, extensions, universal joints and drive couplers. The kit also incorporates pliers, cutters, locking grips, screwdrivers including 1000V items, hammers, files, pullers, a multimeter, inspection mirrors, measuring equipment, hex keys and other essential maintenance tools.

Designed for Tool Control in Demanding Marine Environments

For onboard maintenance, keeping tools secure, identifiable and readily accessible is just as important as the tools themselves. Every item is housed within two-colour foam tooling inserts, providing a defined location for each tool and making it easier to identify missing equipment before or after a maintenance task. The foam is specified as resistant to hydraulic fluid and oil, making the storage system particularly well suited to professional engineering environments where exposure to workshop fluids is commonplace.

The substantial 8-drawer cabinet provides a dedicated home for the complete tool selection while maintaining a professional and organised working environment. With a total product weight of 120kg, the RBTM11C is a serious workshop installation rather than a portable hand-tool set. The cabinet measures 814mm long × 575mm wide × 1005mm high.

Comprehensive Coverage for Professional Maintenance

The RBTM11C has been assembled to cover a wide range of maintenance requirements. The socket selection spans three drive sizes and includes both standard and long-reach options, while the wrench selection provides extensive metric coverage. Additional equipment includes adjustable wrenches, a 28-piece bit set, blade holder, specialist pliers, locking tools, safety knife, electricians’ scissors, files, dead-blow and engineer’s hammers, pullers and a high-performance hacksaw frame.
This breadth makes the kit particularly useful where maintenance teams need to respond to a wide variety of mechanical and engineering tasks without losing valuable time searching for compatible tools or waiting for additional equipment to be sourced.

Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching
Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
