Description

Comprehensive Insulated Tooling for Electric Vehicle Work

The Red Box RBT361T Electric Tram Kit is a comprehensive professional tool solution containing 78 insulated hand tools, organised into a robust wheeled trolley case for efficient transportation, storage and tool control. Designed for electrical and electric vehicle applications, the kit brings together a broad selection of insulated screwdrivers, pliers, hex keys, ring spanners, T-handle socket wrenches and VDE insulated sockets, together with specialist tools including an insulated torque wrench, VDE ratchet and extension. The manufacturer specifies the kit for work on live equipment up to 1,000 volts.

Rather than storing valuable tools loosely in a conventional toolbox, the RBT361T uses five precision-cut, two-colour foam layers to keep every tool securely positioned and immediately identifiable. The supplied product data sheet specifies foam that is resistant to hydraulic fluid and oil, while the manufacturer describes the synthetic resin trolley case as watertight, impact-resistant and Skydrol-resistant, with a pressure-equalising valve. At approximately 630 x 480 x 290 mm and 28 kg, the wheeled format provides a practical solution for technicians who need to move a complete electrical toolkit between workshops, vehicles, maintenance areas and operational environments.

Professional Tool Control

For engineering and maintenance teams, tool control is about more than keeping a toolbox tidy. The contrasting foam layers make missing tools much easier to identify at a glance, helping technicians establish whether the complete kit has been returned after a job. This can be particularly valuable in controlled working environments where tool accountability and efficient job completion are important. The manufacturer also incorporates its tool-control foam system into the kit, with each tool held in a dedicated position.

78-Piece Insulated Tool Selection

The RBT361T provides a well-rounded selection for electrical maintenance and EV-related applications. The supplied specification includes voltage testers/insulated screwdrivers, multiple insulated screwdriver profiles, insulated hexagon L-keys from 5 to 12 mm, insulated and automatic wire-stripping pliers, combination and snipe-nose pliers, 45° angled snipe-nose pliers, offset ring spanners from 10 to 19 mm, T-handle socket wrenches, 1/2″ VDE insulated sockets from 8 to 22 mm, a 270 mm VDE insulated ratchet, 250 mm insulated extension, water pump pliers, safety-series hex keys and a 1/2″ insulated torque wrench covering 12–60 N·m.

Why Choose the RBT361T?
  • 78 insulated professional tools supplied as a complete electric vehicle toolkit
  • Five two-colour foam layers provide clear tool identification and improved tool control
  • VDE insulated sockets, ratchet and extension provide extensive coverage for electrical maintenance tasks
  • 1/2″ insulated torque wrench with 12–60 N·m range adds controlled torque application to the kit
  • Robust wheeled trolley case makes the 28 kg toolkit easier to transport between work areas
Built for Professional Workplaces

The RBT361T is particularly well suited to businesses that need to equip technicians with a complete, organised electrical toolkit rather than assembling individual tools separately. Its combination of insulated hand tools, socket equipment, torque tooling and dedicated foam storage helps reduce time spent searching for equipment while making it easier to identify missing tools before or after maintenance work.

The supplied data sheet gives the kit dimensions as 630 mm long x 480 mm wide x 290 mm high, with a total weight of approximately 28 kg and 78 tools included. The manufacturer’s product page identifies the kit as metric, supplied in a trolley case, and lists Red Box Tools as the manufacturer.

Etching Options
Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching
Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
