Description

Professional Aviation Sheet Metal Tooling in One Complete Kit

The RBT250T Aviation Sheet Metal Tools Kit has been developed for professional aviation maintenance, repair and sheet metal applications where having the correct tooling readily available is essential. The comprehensive 158-tool configuration combines BAHCO and specialist sheet metal tools, covering a broad range of drilling, riveting, forming, cutting, gripping, deburring and general aircraft sheet metal tasks.

Rather than relying on multiple toolboxes or individually sourced tools, the RBT250T brings a substantial selection of specialist equipment together in one organised mobile solution. The kit includes specialist items such as rivet guns, hand and long-arm riveters, cleco skin pin pliers, fluting pliers, dimplers, countersink tooling, aircraft rivet cutters, metal shears, hand seamers, punches, files, drill tooling and a cordless drill driver, making it particularly well suited to professional aviation workshops and maintenance operations.

Rugged Case & Controlled Tool Storage

The tooling is housed within a watertight and impact-resistant synthetic resin wheeled case, incorporating a pressure-equalising valve for added protection during transport and changes in atmospheric pressure. The wheeled format also makes a substantial 40kg toolkit considerably easier to move around workshops, hangars and maintenance areas.

Inside, the tools are securely located within two-colour, Skydrol-resistant foam. This provides a defined position for each item, helping technicians quickly identify the correct tool while making missing equipment easier to spot during tool checks and end-of-task inspections. The organised foam layout also helps reduce loose tooling within the case, supporting better tool control and helping professional maintenance teams maintain a cleaner, more controlled working environment.

Built for Aviation Maintenance & Tool Control

For aviation organisations, tool control is about more than simply keeping a toolbox tidy. Clear tool locations can help technicians identify missing equipment quickly and support more efficient tool checks between tasks. The RBT250T can also be specified with optional foam etching, standard tool etching or sequential tool etching, allowing organisations to introduce additional identification and traceability to their tooling.

With sequential etching, individual tools can be assigned unique identification codes, making the system particularly useful where tool issue, return and traceability procedures form part of an organisation’s maintenance processes.

Etching Options
Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching
Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
