Description

Complete Avionics Capability in One Mobile Workstation

Avionics technicians and MRO teams frequently face the inefficiency of incomplete kits, scattered test leads and poor tool accountability. The RBI9693C solves this by combining the RBI9300T avionics measurement set with the RBI9600T tool kit inside a heavy-duty 8-drawer Bahco trolley cabinet. The result is a single, organised solution containing 68 pieces of conventional and avionics-specific test equipment plus 262 Bahco and DMC hand tools – a total of 330 items ready for immediate use.

The cabinet measures 677 mm long × 501 mm wide × 950 mm high and weighs 120 kg. It features long ball-bearing slides that open fully, a Lock and Go latching system that prevents drawers opening during movement, a double-wall frame for impact protection, reinforced stress points, scratch-resistant paint and a central locking mechanism. Non-marking 125 × 50 mm wheels (two fixed, two swivel with brakes) allow controlled movement around the hangar floor.

Precision Measurement and Reliable Tool Control

At the heart of the measurement suite sits the Fluke 1587 high-performance insulation multimeter, capable of insulation testing from 50 V to 1000 V alongside standard electrical measurements. Supporting accessories include specialised Aero leads in multiple AWG sizes (12, 16, 20 and 22), silicon test leads, BNC coaxial adapters, a non-contact voltstick, crocodile clips and colour-coded storage rolls. Dual-colour foam inlays (typically red/anthracite) with labelled positions provide instant visual tool control, reducing FOD risk and speeding up shift handovers. The DMC and Bahco tools cover insertion/removal, crimping, positioning, wire preparation and general mechanical tasks required for connector and wiring work.

Etching Options
Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching
Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
