Description

RBI9650TM Avionics Toolkit – Organised Precision for Aviation Professionals

In aviation maintenance, a missing tool is never just an inconvenience. Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risks, delayed turnarounds and incomplete inventory checks cost time and compromise safety. The RBI9650TM solves these problems with a complete Imperial (SAE) avionics tool set designed specifically for technicians working on aircraft systems.

Engineered Tool Control Two hundred and sixty-six genuine Bahco and DMC tools sit in four layers of high-density foam plus additional lid storage. The foam is two-colour and fully Skydrol, oil and hydraulic-fluid resistant, so any absent tool is immediately visible. Push Point Technology® lets you release each tool with a simple press, removing the need for traditional pick points and maximising usable space. Tool codes are etched into the foam for easy reordering, and optional custom etching on the tools themselves is available for fleet-level identification.

The red powder-coated steel case measures approximately 523 × 257 × 300 mm and weighs 17 kg fully loaded. Its corrugated top surface allows the closed case to function as a stable step, while the robust construction stands up to daily hangar and workshop use.

At a Glance – Key Benefits

Etching Options
Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
