Description

Engineered for the exacting requirements of Boeing aircraft maintenance, the RBF8100T combines 148 high-quality Facom imperial tools with a purpose-designed storage system that prioritises accountability, protection and mobility. In aviation environments where foreign object debris (FOD) presents a serious safety risk, conventional tool storage falls short. This kit solves that problem with immediate visual control, chemical resistance and robust portability.

Precision Tool Control for Aviation Professionals

Every tool is nested in CNC-cut two-colour foam (red and anthracite). The contrasting colours make any missing item instantly obvious, allowing faster and more reliable inventory checks at the start and end of each shift. The foam is fully resistant to Skydrol hydraulic fluid and oils, protecting both the tools and the organisation system itself from the fluids routinely encountered during aircraft maintenance. Facom tools carry a lifetime guarantee, giving technicians and managers long-term confidence in performance and durability.

Robust, Mobile Storage Built for the Hangar

The tools are housed in a heavy-duty trolley case that is both watertight and impact-resistant, fitted with a pressure-equalising valve for safe transport by air or across varying altitudes. Measuring 627 × 475 × 292 mm and weighing 20 kg when fully loaded, the case offers genuine mobility for line maintenance while remaining stable and organised for workshop use. This balance of protection and portability makes the RBF8100T a practical solution for teams that move between fixed hangars and aircraft on the ramp.

Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
