Furthermore, the door apertures are cleverly designed with return bends to completely eliminate open gaps, ensuring a tightly sealed unit. To maintain a hygienic workspace, the exterior is finished in a high-gloss white powder coat (BS 00.E.55) that features QMP’s exclusive Germ Guard Active Technology to prevent bacterial growth.

Key Technical Features:

• Advanced Spill Management: Each floor-standing unit features a fully welded 1.2mm mild steel integral liquid-tight sump at the base. This encourages the safe and correct handling of chemical spills through the use of absorbents.

• Robust Security: The 0.9mm mild steel doors are reinforced with a vertically welded stiffener and secured using a ‘no snag’ handle with a 2-point locking mechanism.

• Heavy-Duty Shelving: Supplied with adjustable, spill-retaining galvanised shelves that provide superior spill management. These heavy-duty shelves boast a Uniformly Distributed Load (UDL) capacity of up to 70kg to support dense liquid containers.

• Fire Safety Compliance: The range comes with supplied warning/hazardous labels and holds a Reaction to Fire Classification EN 13501-1.
