Description

Designed for professional marine maintenance environments, the Red Box RBTM8 Marine Electrical Tool Kit brings together 48 BAHCO tools in a compact, organised format. The selection covers a useful combination of fastening, gripping, cutting, screwdriver and electrical termination tools, making it well suited to engineers who need a practical tool set for maintenance and repair work onboard vessels, in workshops or across marine engineering operations.

The tools are housed in a heavy-duty rigid protective case with precision-cut two-colour foam tool control. The contrasting foam makes missing tools immediately visible, helping maintenance teams maintain tool accountability and reducing the risk of equipment being inadvertently left behind after completing work. With a 425mm x 360mm x 225mm case and a total weight of 7.5kg, the kit provides a substantial professional tool selection without the footprint of a larger workshop tool cabinet.

Professional BAHCO Tool Selection

The RBTM8 includes a broad selection of BAHCO hand tools, including flex-head ratcheting combination wrenches, 3/8″ aerospace sockets, 1/4″ ratchet and extensions, adjustable and slip-joint pliers, side cutters, long-nose pliers and screwdrivers. The kit also includes a dedicated end terminal plier for 0.5–4mm² applications, making it particularly relevant to maintenance tasks involving electrical connections and terminal work.

The combination of mechanical and electrical hand tools makes this a practical choice where engineers need to carry one organised kit for a range of routine maintenance tasks. The inclusion of multiple socket sizes, flex-head ratcheting wrenches and a selection of flat, Phillips and Pozidriv screwdrivers provides useful coverage for general fastening and servicing requirements.

Designed for Marine Maintenance

Marine environments demand tools that are easy to transport, quick to identify and straightforward to keep accountable. The RBTM8 addresses this with a rigid protective case and fitted two-colour foam, allowing engineers to see at a glance whether the complete tool set is present. This is especially useful for professional maintenance teams where tool control is an important part of the working process.

Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching
Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
