Description

Precision torque control for professional assembly

The Mountz RBTT8 Preset Screwdriver with Analyser Kit is a comprehensive torque verification solution designed for businesses that require consistent, repeatable and traceable fastening performance. Combining four Mountz FG preset torque screwdrivers with the EZ-TorQ III 50i torque analyser, the kit provides both controlled torque application and a practical means of testing and verifying tool performance. The complete system is supplied in a protective case with a two-toned foam insert, helping operators identify missing tools quickly and maintain better tool control in busy production and assembly environments.

Repeatable fastening with built-in protection

The Mountz FG preset screwdrivers are engineered for repetitive fastening applications where the same torque must be applied consistently, regardless of operator skill. Their cam-over mechanism helps prevent both under- and over-tightening, while the smooth reset action reduces the risk of fastener damage, loosening or breakage. A bearing system helps eliminate axial and side loading applied by the operator, while the tamper-resistant internal adjustment means the screwdriver has no external torque scale and must be preset using a torque analyser. The screwdrivers are also bi-directional and can be calibrated for clockwise or anti-clockwise operation.

Integrated torque testing and calibration

The EZ-TorQ III 50i torque analyser provides a portable digital solution for testing and calibrating torque tools, including small hand screwdrivers, most torque wrenches and power torque tools. Its built-in transducer, rechargeable Li-ion battery and full-colour touchscreen make it well suited to routine verification on the production line or within an assembly area. The analyser can record and store torque readings, create historical records and support statistical analysis, providing useful documentation for quality control and conformity requirements.

Key Benefits
  • Complete torque control system – combines four Mountz FG preset torque screwdrivers with an EZ-TorQ III 50i analyser.
  • Reliable repeatability – cam-over screwdriver technology helps operators consistently achieve the intended torque without over-tightening.
  • Torque verification on demand – use the digital analyser for routine daily or weekly checks and to identify whether a tool remains within calibration.
  • Data recording and analysis – store torque readings, create historical records and use onboard statistical analysis for quality-control processes.
  • Professional tool control – supplied in a dedicated case with two-tone foam, colour-coded screwdriver labels and a comprehensive selection of equipment for controlled assembly environments.
Designed for production and quality-critical applications

The RBTT8 is particularly suited to manufacturing, production assembly, engineering, electronics and other professional fastening environments where torque accuracy is important to product quality and process consistency. The four colour-coded FG screwdrivers make torque-tool identification straightforward, helping reduce the potential for operators to select the wrong tool during repetitive assembly work. Their ergonomic handles are designed to reduce hand fatigue and make the drivers easier to clean, while the secure bit-locking mechanism provides quick bit changes without compromising efficiency.

With the EZ-TorQ III providing a documented method of torque verification alongside the preset screwdrivers, the RBTT8 offers a more complete approach to torque management than simply purchasing individual fastening tools. It is a practical choice for organisations looking to improve assembly consistency, support quality procedures and maintain confidence in the torque being applied.

Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching
Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
