Description

Professional Aircraft Basic Maintenance Tool Kit

Aircraft maintenance environments demand tools that are complete, controlled and resistant to the fluids and conditions found on the flight line and in the hangar. The RBT310ST meets that requirement with a carefully selected set of 106 imperial tools housed in a high-specification wheeled trolley case. Designed for basic maintenance tasks, the kit covers the most commonly required 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ drive sockets, combination wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers and inspection tools, all organised in dual-colour foam inlays that support strict tool-control procedures.

Built for Aviation Conditions

The synthetic resin trolley case is water-tight, impact-resistant and fitted with a pressure-equalising valve. Red and anthracite foam inlays are Skydrol resistant, protecting both the tools and the case from the hydraulic fluids routinely encountered in aircraft work. The wheeled design allows the complete kit to be moved quickly between aircraft stands or workshop bays without repeated unpacking and repacking. A spare foam sheet is included so that any future tool changes or wear can be accommodated without compromising organisation.

Tool Selection Overview

The kit provides comprehensive coverage for typical airframe and component tasks:

  • Full range of imperial flat and offset combination wrenches
  • Slim-head reversible ratchets (72-tooth, 5° action) in 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ drives
  • Standard and deep bi-hex sockets across the most used imperial sizes
  • Extension bars, universal joints and adaptors
  • ERGO™ pliers, adjustable wrenches, hex keys, hammers, measuring tools and a full screwdriver set including stubby and bolster variants

Everything is arranged for rapid visual inventory checks, reducing the risk of foreign object debris (FOD) and improving turnaround efficiency.

Etching Options
Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
