Description

Professional Aircraft Maintenance Tooling, Organised and Controlled

Aircraft maintenance demands absolute tool accountability. A missing socket or spanner can ground an aircraft, create FOD hazards or delay critical work. The RBI8000ST Aircraft Mechanic Kit from Red Box Tools solves this with a carefully selected set of 236 Bahco aerospace-grade hand tools covering both imperial (SAE/Standard) and metric sizes. Every tool is precisely nested in two-colour, Skydrol-resistant foam so any absence is visible at a glance—turning tool control from a time-consuming chore into a rapid visual check.

Engineered for the Hangar Environment

The kit is housed in a heavy-duty synthetic resin trolley case that is watertight, impact-resistant and fitted with a pressure-equalising valve. The red exterior stands out on the ramp or workshop floor, while the dual-colour (red/anthracite) foam layers resist aviation hydraulic fluids and oils. Tools are organised across multiple foam layers with a spare foam insert included, giving you room to expand the kit as your fleet or task list grows. All Bahco tools carry a lifetime guarantee, providing long-term confidence for professional use.

Key Features at a Glance
  • 236 Bahco aviation hand tools in combined imperial (SAE/Standard) and metric sizes, specialised for aircraft and helicopter maintenance
  • Two-colour Skydrol-resistant foam with clear shadow outlines for immediate tool control and FOD risk reduction
  • Heavy-duty wheeled synthetic resin case – watertight, impact-resistant, with pressure-equalising valve
  • Multi-layer foam organisation plus one spare foam layer for future expansion
  • Full Bahco lifetime guarantee on every tool

Etching Options
Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
