Description

Purpose-Built for Ground Support Equipment Maintenance

The RBI4100T Ground Support Equipment Kit has been developed specifically for technicians working on aviation tugs, tow tractors and associated GSE vehicles. Rather than a generic toolbox, this 118-piece set focuses on the fasteners, linkages and access points commonly found on modern ground-handling plant. Every tool has been selected by engineers who understand the constraints of working around aircraft, in hangars and on the apron — where reliability, organisation and the correct size of tool matter far more than sheer volume.

Housed in a robust, wheeled case measuring 545 × 350 × 240 mm and weighing 26 kg when fully loaded, the kit is designed to travel easily between workshops, hangars and remote stands. The layout prioritises rapid tool location so that routine servicing and unplanned repairs can be completed efficiently, reducing the risk of delayed aircraft movements caused by GSE downtime.

Key Features at a Glance
  • 118 carefully curated tools covering ratchet sets, deep and standard sockets, combination and adjustable wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, punches, chisels and specialist drivers
  • Aviation-focused selection including double-flat ratchet wrenches, T-handles, sliding T-handles and long-reach instruments suited to confined GSE engine bays and chassis points
  • Durable, organised case with clear tool locations so missing items are immediately obvious and the kit remains audit-ready
  • Workshop-to-apron mobility – wheeled design and manageable dimensions make it practical for both fixed maintenance bays and mobile response teams
  • Professional-grade construction built for repeated daily use in demanding industrial environments

Information
Foam Etching
Foam Etching

The corresponding tool code is permanently laser-etched into the foam adjacent to each tool cut-out.

This provides immediate visual confirmation of missing tools and significantly strengthens shadow board / FOD control discipline. Ideal for hangar and workshop environments where rapid visual audits are required.

Standard Tool Etching
Standard Tool Etching

A single consistent code is laser-etched onto every tool in the kit. The code is supplied by the customer (maximum 8 characters).

Enables clear ownership identification across multiple kits, teams or locations. Particularly effective for reducing tool loss and preventing mix-ups on busy sites or mobile operations.

Sequential Tool Etching
Sequential Tool Etching

Each tool is laser-etched with its own unique sequential code. The customer supplies both the base code and the starting number sequence (maximum 8 characters in total).

Combines kit-level identification with individual tool traceability. Recommended where precise tool logging, issue and return control is required, while still maintaining a clear link back to the parent kit.
