Hinged Stabiliser System

To combine a slimline profile with certified stability, these steps utilise a Hinged Stabiliser System.

1. Deploy for Safety: Before use, the operator swings out the side stabilisers. This instantly creates a wide, secure footprint that prevents tipping—a critical feature for maintaining BS certification on a narrow unit.

2. Fold for Access: Once the task is finished, the stabilisers fold neatly against the frame. This returns the unit to its ultra-narrow width, allowing it to be pushed effortlessly through standard doorways or down tight corridors.

Automatic Braking & Mobility

Designed for speed and ease of use, the steps feature a Weight Reactive Spring Castor system.

• Agile Mobility: The unit glides on four non-marking swivel castors, allowing for 360-degree manoeuvrability in confined spaces.

• Secure Braking: As soon as the user steps onto the first tread, the castors retract automatically. This firmly grounds the steel feet to the floor, creating a static and stable workstation that will not roll while in use.

Fully Welded Construction

The sturdy tubular steel frame supports a top platform height of 750mm, giving an average working reach of approx. 2.25 metres—ideal for reaching files or stock on mid-level shelves. The platform is surrounded by a safety rail to ensure the operator feels secure at all times.
