Description

Secure Your Operations at Height

Ladders and stepladders are essential tools across almost every industry, but they are also involved in a significant portion of workplace accidents. Frequent transport, heavy loads, and daily site usage inevitably lead to structural degradation. Our Ladder Inspection Books provide a highly structured, technical framework for competent persons to systematically evaluate access equipment before use. By embedding this proactive check into your daily routine, you easily identify damaged stiles, missing anti-slip feet, or faulty locking mechanisms before they cause a catastrophic fall, actively protecting your workforce and preventing costly downtime.

  • Contains 25 comprehensive daily or weekly pre-use checklists for ladders and stepladders.
  • Carbonless duplicate pages create an instant, tamper-proof management audit trail.
  • Drives strict site compliance with the Work at Height Regulations (WAHR).
  • Integrates seamlessly with safety status tags for clear, visual communication.
  • Supplied in a robust, pocket-sized booklet ideal for contractors and site operatives.
Streamlined WAHR Compliance & Auditing

Under the Work at Height Regulations (WAHR), employers are legally obligated to guarantee that all access equipment is systematically inspected, recorded, and strictly fit for purpose. This check book fundamentally streamlines your compliance protocol. Each pad contains 25 individual, tear-out checklists backed by advanced carbonless copy paper. Once an inspection is completed, the top sheet can be placed inside the ladder’s display tag, whilst a permanent, unalterable duplicate is securely retained within the spine. This provides your health and safety managers with an undeniable audit trail, ready for any HSE inspection.

Critical Inspection Criteria Addressed:
  • Structural Integrity: Prompts a detailed assessment of rungs, stiles, platforms, and handrails to identify dents, warping, cracks, or material fatigue.

  • Hardware & Stability: Guides users through systematic checks covering locking bars, vital fixings, ropes, pulleys, and the crucial condition of anti-slip feet and castors.

  • Instant Visual Tagging: Designed to pair flawlessly with existing status tagging systems, immediately displaying a safe “Good to Go” or a vital “Do Not Use” warning to all site personnel.

  • Carbonless Duplication: Instantly generates a legally sound management record without the mess or hassle of handling separate carbon inserts.
