HSE Store

Our Adjustable Height Workbenches combine ergonomic flexibility with industrial durability, offering both premium electric sit-stand workstations and economy manual height-adjustable options to suit budget, task, and user needs across assembly, production, labs, warehousing, and engineering environments. Each bench is supported by UK manufacturing quality from QMP and available as pre-selected kits or fully customisable builds with accessories and worktop choices tailored to operational workflows.

Why adjustable height

Adjustable height workbenches support safe posture, task variation, and shared workstations by enabling quick changes to bench height for sitting or standing, helping reduce strain through the day and aligning with common UK ergonomic ranges from approximately 650 mm up to around 1290 mm on electric models, and 730–950 mm on manual versions. This flexibility makes them ideal where roles rotate, precision tasks change, or different operators require ergonomic set-ups in industrial settings.

Premium electric range

Our premium electric height adjustable benches feature a powered mechanism with push-button control, smoothly adjusting between 650–1290 mm to fine-tune working height for tasks and operators throughout the shift. Built for heavy use in assembly, production, and engineering, they carry an evenly distributed load rating of up to 200 kg, and can be specified within pre-configured kits that integrate storage, lighting, and tooling at purchase.

Economy manual “cost saver”

For budget-conscious deployments or lighter-duty tasks, the Cost Saver manual range uses a removable crank handle for easy, precise height changes between 730–950 mm—even when benches are flush to a wall to avoid “banged knuckles” during adjustment. These benches are supplied with a durable 20 mm laminate worktop and have a 100 kg evenly distributed load rating, offering a pragmatic way to introduce sit-stand capability at scale.

Kits and full custom build

Choose from curated kit bundles that pair benches with compatible storage, panels, service ducts, lighting frames, and shelving for rapid specification and faster deployment, or request a fully custom build to match footprint, process flow, and operator needs. Electric premium systems accept extensive above- and below-bench accessories, while the cost saver manual bench is a standalone solution that does not accept above/below-bench accessories by design.

Worktops, finishes, hygiene

Premium electric benches can be specified with Linoleum, Laminate, or Solid Beech worktops to match durability, ESD/cleanliness targets, and maintenance preferences, whereas cost saver is supplied with a robust 20 mm laminate worktop as standard. All frames are powder-coated with Germ Guard Active Technology paint in light/dark grey and black finishes to support hygiene in industrial environments and maintain a professional appearance over time.

Built for industry

Designed and manufactured in the UK by QMP, these benches are engineered for reliability and modularity in real-world industrial settings, with electric systems supporting higher loads and broader height travel for intensive tasks and multi-user cells. Manual units provide dependable ergonomics for general assembly and lab/light engineering use where lower loads and fewer accessories are required.
